Svensk ordbok (SO) är en stor nusvensk definitionsordbok utgiven från 2009. Den utgör en ingående beskrivning av det allmänna ordförrådet i modern svenska. Tyngdpunkten ligger på uppslagsordens betydelse och användning i kombination med historiska uppgifter. SO innehåller bland annat 65 000 uppslagsord med betydelsebeskrivningar, 100 000 språkliga exempel, uppgifter om ordklass och böjning, ordled och ordbildning, och välkända citat i anslutning till enskilda artiklar. SO finns också som app för iOS och Android. Ordboksappen tillhandahåller inläst uttal. Mer information finns på SO:s hemsida.

The Contemporary Dictionary of the Swedish Academy (SO) was first published in 2009 and provides an in-depth description of the modern Swedish vocabulary. The focus is on the meaning of the words and how they are used, but you can also hear how the they are pronounced. SO is also available as an app for iOS and Android, in the app you can hear how words are pronounced.  Please note that SO is only available in Swedish.
