In September 2017 Taylor & Francis launched a new ebook platform that merges the current Taylor & Francis eBooks platform with the CRCnetBASE platform. Taylor & Francis Group is one of the world’s leading publishers of scholarly journals, books, ebooks, reference works, and databases. The majority of the ebooks on Taylor & Francis eBooks are published by Routledge, but there are also books from other imprints, including David Fulton, CRC Press, Earthscan, Focal Press and Psychology Press.
Please note that Lund University Libraries does not have access to all content on Taylor & Francis eBooks. LU currently have perpetual access to 2937 ebooks as well as 621 Open Access books (December 2020). When searching or browsing you can filter the results by checking the box 'Show content I have access to', books owned by LU are marked with in the hit list and in the record of the book.
There are three types of ebooks available on Taylor & Francis:
1) Books without DRM - these books have an unlimited number of concurrent users and can be read online or downloaded on both computers and mobile devices, including smart phones.
2) Books with DRM - these book have only one (1) concurrent user and can only be read online, not downloaded. The limit for one user to access a book with DRM is no more than 120 minutes per session. LU owns 17 titles with DRM (see title list below).
3) Open Access books - these books are marked with and are licensed under a Creative Commons CC-BY-NC-ND license.
Note: Problems with Firefox and the Taylor & Francis eBook platform has been reported, so if you are experiencing problems please try Google Chrome instead.
