eBooks @ Lund University Libraries

SpringerLink is Springer’s platform that hosts ebooks, book series, reference works, protocols and journals. SpringerLink is an open platform which means that you can preview table of contents and abstracts for all titles, but fulltext is only available for owned titles.

Please note that Lund University Libraries does not have access to all content on SpringerLink. LUB owns or subscribes to almost 90 000 books and book series volumes (June 2021) on SpringerLink. If you only want to see content LUB have access to, uncheck the yellow box Include Preview-Only Content above the search filters on the left-hand side of the site. Preview-only titles are displayed with the color yellow in the background and a yellow padlock above the title:

Information about downloading ebooks on SpringerLink
Springer offers "full book download functionality", this means that you can download all chapters of an ebook in one go in PDF or EPUB format. The complete ebook and chapters are available to subscribed users without restrictions, but please note that "without restrictions" only mean that the books are free of DRM (Digital Rights Management). Authorized users (registered students and staff) at Lund University may still only download individual items, i.e. one (1) article, chapter or ebook for personal use, for educational, scientific or research purposes. For non-subscribed ebooks, the first two (2) pages can be viewed.
Exceptions: The full book download is NOT available for ebooks with over 100 chapters, Major Reference Works and some of the major book series (e.g. LNCS).

Information för bibliotekarier: Observera att Springer eBook Archive, NonSeries pre2005 består av ett urval av titlar som inte ingår i de ämnessamlingar vi äger. För komplett lista över de ca 2,300 titlar som ingår i pre2005, se nedan.

SpringerLink Tutorials (all languages) can be found on YouTube.
