Emerald Insight launched a new digital research platform on July 4th 2019. Lund University Libraries have access to five collections on Emerald:
- Emerald Business, Management & Economics eBook Series Collection (BME)
- Emerald Social Sciences eBook Series Colletion (SS)
- Emerald Management Plus (eJournals)
- Emerald backfiles (eJournals)
The new platform does not have a browse option, you have to start by entering a term and search. On the Search Results page you can limit your search by Access, Year and Content Type. To see only resources available to Lund University, check the box “Only content accessible by your institution”. On the new platform five content types are used: Article, Book part, Earlycite article, Case study and Accepted article. Book part is the new definition for book chapters, they can be downloaded in PDF and EPUB format. The ebook series are continously updated with new volumes. If you choose not to limit the content by Access you may get a Turnaway. If LU does not have access to particular content you will se this message: “This is a turnaway page, and you do not have access to this content”.
