The instructions in this section concern references to web pages. This category is used only when the work has no parent or overarching publication other than the website itself. NB! You should only cite information from a web page if it is the primary source for the said information. Do not cite a web page on information which is available somewhere else, e.g. in a journal article or a book.
Some web pages will have a group author, e.g. organization, company or authority, instead of a personal author. If the group author is the same as the site name, omit the site name from the reference. For web pages where the content is designed to change over time and the page itself is not archived, you conclude the reference with information on the retrieval date in addition to the URL in the format “Retrieved Month DD, YYYY, from http://xxxx”.
Do not forget to consult the general instructions on how to write references according to APA (7th edition), including
Author, A. A., Author, B. B., & Author, C. C. (YYYY, Month DD). Title of work. Site Name. URL
Author, A. A., Author, B. B., & Author, C. C. (n.d.). Title of work. Site Name. Retrieved Month DD, YYYY, from URL
