A central challenge for empirical research of clinical supervision is how to measure the effectiveness of clinical supervision. The Manchester Clinical Supervision Scale (MCSS) measures the supervisee’s perception of the effectiveness of clinical supervision. The aims of this paper were to account for the translation of MCSS from English into Danish and to present a preliminary psychometric validation of the Danish version of the scale.

I litteraturen om återkoppling återkommer detta dilemma som en anledning till att återkoppling kan upplevas som negativ även om den är genomtänkt och välformulerad. Att fundera över sina egna reaktioner kan också hjälpa oss att förstå studenters reaktioner på återkoppling.

Synopsis: Giving feedback “up the ladder” is when a trainee provides feedback to their supervisor. In this video the feedback is aimed at an aspect of the faculty member’s teaching style. Feedback is delivered in a non-threatening, collaborative manner in an attempt to solve problems that exist, and to propose potential solutions. Supervisors can gain valuable insight into their teaching and supervisory style, and make changes to improve their teaching.
