As an employee or student at Lund University, you have access to LUBsearch even from outside the University’s network.
Please note! Login with student account or LUCAT ID is required to download full text from home.
From February 1st the access of our e-resources will be limited from outside of campus. However, most people at LU will not be affected by this change. If you cannot access our electronic resources after 1 February, please contact the Lucat administrator at your department.
Read more about the following:
In order to access LUBsearch from home, you can go via the libraries’ shared web page or type in http://lubsearch.lub.lu.se. Once you have got through to LUBsearch, you can search without logging in, but you cannot see all the results on your results list, or access LU’s licensed e-resources without logging in.
In order to use LUBsearch as an authorised user, click Hello, Guest. Login for full access at the top of the window (see image below):
If you click the Hello, Guest link or one of the Full Text Finder buttons in the results list without having logged in, a window for Lund University’s central authorisation service (CAS) will come up, requiring you to log in with your student account or your LUCAT.
Logging in means that you can access all the licensed e-resources from our suppliers via the libraries’ proxy-server.
This depends on what type of problem you have.
If you have problems with your student account or LUCAT, see Login problems for more information and contact details.
If you have technical problems with your computer, see Technical problems for more information and contact details.
If you have problems with LUBsearch and other e-resources from home, see Other problems for more information and contact details.
