Kanopy
Kanopy is an on-demand streaming video platform for universities that offers films and documentaries. We purchase access for 1 or 3 years at at time. The purchased film will be made available at the Kanopy Platform and through LUBsearch, and can also be shared to students by link.
N.B. To browse for films we can purchase access to on the platform, use the "Search" entry. The "Browse" entry only contain films LU already has access to.

Video on Demand for educational screening, short time access

When a video is available for educational purposes but only as video-on-demand for a very short period of time, i.e. when the library cannot get a physical copy of the film or licensed campus access on an established streaming platform, see if you rent it at cost of your department.

Swedish Film License
The Swedish Film license for screening film from TVOD-services like SF Anytime, Blockbuster and alike only applies for films produced by the participating film companies covered by the license, see list of companies at the site.
Fokus Film (FilmCentrum Distribution)
Teachers can order directly at the FokusFilm website when a movie is listed at the platform. You rent access for a short period of time for the course, and get individual ticket codes to distribute to the students.
Smorgasbord Picture House
A quality selection of films, with educational screening rights. You rent access for a short period of time, and get individual ticket codes to distribute to the students.
Vimeo: video-on-demand by file sharing
Some smaller production companies can offer their films by file sharing here, even for educational screening (we can ask them). Vimeo is a video hosting, sharing, and services platform which enables you to share a video with an audience with ease, including live streaming.

PsycThearpy (APA) PsycTherapy is a database containing more than 300 videos featuring therapy demonstrations showing clinicians working with individuals, couples, and families. During 2023 APA PsycTherapy will migrate to the Ebsco Host platform and get the same interface as databases like PsycInfo and SocIndex.
Psychotherapy.net Psychotherapy.net is a platform with videos covering a wide variety of tools and techniques from a broad selection of psychotherapeutic approaches, making it an ideal training resource for students, interns and all mental-health professionals. Lund University does not have access to all content.
UR Access UR Access is a streaming service which provides access to more than 19 000 films, TV- and radio programs produced by UR (Swedish Educational Broadcasting Company), ranging from pre-school to higher education level. N.B. You need to have Adobe Flash Player installed on your computer in order to watch the films. You will find programs in other languages than Swedish, but the platform is in Swedish only.
SAGE Research Methods (SRM) Videos SAGE Research Methods Video includes hours of tutorials, interviews, video case studies, and mini-documentaries covering the entire research process.
SAGE Campus SAGE Campus provides online learning courses for skills and research methods. The courses are self-paced. The courses cover critical skills and research methods across all stages of academic study, split into 5 categories: navigating information, data literacy, data science skills, research skills, and getting published.
