What is EndNote?

EndNote is a software tool for reference management from Clarivate Analytics. The Lund University Libraries Head office and LDC have a site license agreement which makes EndNote available to students and faculty at Lund University. The license is financed by the Lund University Libraries Head office and distributed by LDC.

EndNote is available for both PC and Mac and includes the following functions:  

  • Search bibliographic databases on the Internet and import the references to your EndNote Library
  • Organize references, images, PDFs and other files
  • Create manuscripts in Microsoft Word with built-in templates as well as automatic bibliographies.

Support and training

Getting started:

STAFF
Contact your IT-department if you wish to install EndNote. 
LU Servicedesk offers some support for technical questions, once you have downloaded the installation file to your computer.

STUDENT
You can download EndNote from the Student Portal at Universitys hompage.

Training sessions:
STAFF
Contact your faculty library if you wish to attend to a training session at your department.
For employees at the Faculty of Social Sciences please contact the librarians in charge of the training sessions by sending an e-mail to ref@sambib.lu.se.

STUDENT
We can't at this point offer any training sessions for students. Please consult this Libguide, the FAQ avaliable online or contact us, NB! only students at the Faculty of Social Sciences, at ref@sambib.lu.se. How to download the program etc. please see information at the Student Portal.
