On this page you will find information about the reference management software called RefWorks. If you don't find what you are looking for please contact us.
As an employee or student at the Faculty of Social Sciences you can always contact us, either Ann-Sofie Zettergren, Sara Rondahl or Maja Carlson by e-mail: email@example.com.
What is RefWorks?
RefWorks is a software tool for reference management from ProQuest. The Lund University Libraries have a site license agreement which makes RefWorks available to students and faculty at Lund University.
RefWorks is web-based, works with all computers and includes the following functions:
The New Refworks platform is now available at Lund University. If you already have an account, login and click on the banner on top (see image above) to migrate your account to the new platform. Legacy ("old") Refworks will still be available until January 2018.
NB! If you are currently using Legacy RefWorks in a document (such as your thesis), DO NOT migrate to New RefWorks as it might cause problems for your citations and reference list.
More information on New Refworks: http://proquest.libguides.com/newrefworks
To create an account using your Lund university email:
1. Go to http://refworks.proquest.com
2. Click on "Create new account" and sign-up using your Lund University email address.
3. Open the link in the activation email that you will receive. Your account is now ready to be used!
Training sessions and support:
If you want support when starting to use RefWorks, you may find one of the tutorials available on the Internet useful. Once you have an individual account, you will have access to a comprehensive help section in English.
Contact your faculty library if you wish to attend to a training session at your department.
For employees at the Faculty of Social Sciences, please contact the librarians in charge of the training sessions by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We occasionally offer training workshops for students. Please see Sambib's website or Campus Helsingborg Library website for dates or contact us, NB! only students at the Faculty of Social Sciences, at email@example.com.
