China Core Newspapers Database - Continuously updated full-text database newspapers from the People's Republic of China. Includes more than 650 important newspapers, including Chinese Communist Party newspapers at and above the prefecture level, including /People’s Daily/, /Guangming Daily/, and /Beijing Daily/ as well as industry and other types of newspapers. Content is text only (not page image) and goes back to 2000 in most cases.
ChinaLawInfo The database contains 146.000 documents from 1949 onwards. Covered are state and local laws and regulations.
People's Daily/Renmin Ribao - With publication started in June 1946 and a current circulation of 3 million, People's Daily is the most influential and authoritative newspaper in China. It is the official voice of the central government of the People's Republic of China for the last 71 years, the People's Daily has published daily issues that provide the single location where the central government and the Communist Party of China announce their respective policies and disseminate governmental, political, and economic messages to the public and the world. Chinamaxx Access to 700.000 Chinese EBooks of different subjects and from different periods (1900-2009). Books are provided in an online reader format (often providing a table of contents to jump to a certain chapter, allows searches within the book and copy-paste of text passages using the "OCR" tool implemented). Airiti is an on-line database offering the largest collection of full-text Taiwanese periodicals around the world. Currently TEPS contains articles of more than 900 Taiwanese periodicals of different subjects. The quantity is continually increasing.
National Social Sciences Database (NSSD) provides access to open access articles from major journals published by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and it’s provincial subsidiaries. The database, maintained by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) includes over 2000 titles of core academic journals in social science (and humanities) published in China, including the entire volumes of journals such as文物 Wen wu)，考古 (Kao gu)，and 历史研究 (Historical Research).
Chinese Dictionary Compendium The Chinese Dictionary Compendium offers access to 120 volumes of Chinese dictionaries and reference works. The centerpiece is a revised edition of the Hanyu Da Cidian (Chongxin Paiban) 漢語大詞典（重新排版). The database offers a variety of monolingual dictionaries, as well as multiple options for searching for characters or phrases.
