Blue Books and other archival material from 13 British colonies and protectorates in Africa dating 1821-1953. The standardised nature of the Blue Books enables comparisons to be drawn geographically (between colonies), and over time on issues from colonial economic practice to education and hospitals.

Several databases in economic history and demography created at the Center for Economic Demography

Data set on exchange rates, central bank and commercial bank balance sheets, interest rates, money supply, inflation, international trade, government finance, national accounts, and more. Main focus is data from ca 1500 to 1950, with some earlier and later data.

Portal for historical statistics

Cross-country historical financial data since 1984, including IMF members’ quota, reserve tranche position, SDR holdings, outstanding credit, projected payments due to the IMF, members’ arrangements and IMF’s borrowings, and monthly historical transactions with the IMF.
