Problem Based Learning

Aim 
The aim of the course is to introduce the participants to PBL and  the group process in PBL, and to prepare them for the role as PBL tutor.

Learning outcomes
On completion of the course, the participants shall be able to:

• explain the learning principles for  PBL 
• use "the seven steps"-structure in a group
• discuss the role of the tutor in supporting the students' learning and the development of the group, based on existing frameworks and theories.

Syfte 
Syftet med kursen är att deltagarna skaffar sig en introduktion till PBL och hur gruppen arbetar i PBL, samt förbereder sig för rollen som handledare (”tutor”) i PBL.

Mål  
Efter genomgången kurs ska deltagarna kunna

•  förklara den syn på lärande som PBL bygger på
•  använda ”de sju stegen” som arbetssätt i en grupp
•  föra ett resonemang om PBL-handledarens roll för att stödja studenternas lärande och gruppens utveckling utifrån teorier och ramverk.
