Teachers -how do I find ebooks to use in class?

When you know the titel and want to find out if it’s available as an e-book:

1.  Start with:

LUBsearch, Lund University's digital resources search system, to see if Lund University already has access to the e-book.

2.   If not, check:

Libris, the national Swedish library catalogue.

If Lund University doesn't own the e-book, but you find it in Libris, contact you library to find out if it’s available for purchase.

3.  If the book isn't in Libris, check:

Worldcat, a worldwide library catalogue, to see if the book is published in e-format.

If you find the e-book in Worldcat, contact you library to find out if it’s available for purchase.

4.  As a last effort, check:

the publisher’s website. Different publishers have different business models. If the book is published in e-format, contact your library to find out if it’s available for purchase.

Downloading

If you want to download e-books (other than pdf-files) you need the program Adobe Digital Editions. Find out more on this page.
